Strengthening Self-Knowledge

  • Everything DiSC®: Popular, interactive courses supported by research-validated online assessments producing workplace-specific profiles that help people identify and explore the priorities that drive them. DiSC teaches participants to understand and appreciate the styles of the people they work with and provides techniques for working with individuals of different styles. Separate instruments available for entire workforce, for managers, and for leaders. A 360 profile is also available as a leadership option.   • Myers-Briggs Type Indicator® (MBTI®):  The MBTI assessment is accomplished through a questionnaire designed to measure psychological preferences in how people perceive the world and make decisions. From developing more productive work teams to building closer families, the MBTI can improve the quality of life for anyone and any organization. Customized training provides interpretation of the assessment and techniques for using it to improve the quality of individual and collaborative work.

Building Trusting Relationships

  • Leading at the Speed of Trust and Working at the Speed of Trust are highly interactive workshops that engage leaders or staff at all levels of the organization in identifying and closing the trust gaps that exist in their organizations.  Doing business at the “speed of trust” dramatically lowers costs, speeds up results, and increases effectiveness and influence. Participants will learn how to make trust an explicit goal of their work, understand how others perceive their trustworthiness, and make action plans for institutionalizing behaviors that increase trust throughout the organization.

Solving Problems & Resolving Conflict

  • The 5 Behaviors of a Cohesive Team:  Through instructor-led discussion and individual/group practical, hands-on activities, teams will learn how to recognize and overcome the Five Dysfunctions that plague all teams. They will complete this training having established new understandings and skills that will pave the way for the open communication and healthy ideological conflict that lead to the best decisions and results. Participants will complete an online 5 Behaviors Assessment of the team’s current strengths and weaknesses in regard to trust, conflict, commitment, accountability, and results.
  • Resolving Conflict Effectively:  End the “blame game” and get things done. We use the Conflict Dynamic Profile® (CDP) instrument to build awareness of conflict management behaviors of team members to effectively resolve conflict and build trust within the team. The program will include instructor-led discussion, individual assessments, and group exercises on conflict-inducing “Hot Buttons”; and “Active Constructive,” “Active Destructive,” “Passive Constructive,” and Passive Destructive” responses to conflict. Participants will be better able to keep communication flowing during conflict, avoid the build-up of resentments and team derailment, and produce desired results and achieve team goals.

Unleashing Creativity and Innovation

  • Unleashing Individual and Team Creativity:  Our foundational creativity course, focusing on removing personal barriers to the creativity in all individuals and innovation by teams. We start with the Team Dimensions Profile, which helps individuals work from their strengths by identifying their most natural team role, while giving them added appreciation for the contributions of others. It maps the flow of assigning roles, completing tasks, and handing off tasks to other team members. As organizations rely more on teams to innovate, problem-solve, produce, and compete at the speed of change, understanding and capitalizing on individual approaches to group processes is key to creating high-performance teams.
  • Seeing With New Eyes:  We will look at a variety of time-tested thinking skills and techniques that will help us to create and innovate in our organizations.  Participants will explore creativity and innovation as skills, attitudes, and processes, learning to explore ideas and generate possibilities and looking for many right answers, not just one.

  • Public Speaking, Purpose-Driven Writing, Crisis Communications, Working with the Media, Executive Presence:  These customized courses address the necessity for leaders and would-be leaders to develop the ability to efficiently and effectively communicate, whether in writing or in person, internally or to the public. Now more than ever, instant communication and access to information puts us in the spotlight and sometimes on the spot. Participants will learn practical skills and how to leverage today’s realities with clarity and power.
